Roots Ivory Shea Butter is an unrefined, 100% natural shea butter, obtained from the nut of the African shea tree and made without preservatives. Its rich texture intensively moisturises and nourishes dry and rough skin, helps it retain moisture and leaves it feeling soft and supple. It is equally suited to body, hands and very dry areas, to dry lips and as a nourishing hair mask.

How to use
Take a small amount with your fingertips and warm it briefly between your palms until it becomes easy to spread. Massage gently into the skin with circular movements, focusing on dry areas such as elbows, knees and heels. Best applied after showering to clean, slightly damp skin to help retain moisture. Can also be applied to dry lips. As a weekly hair mask, mix 1–2 tablespoons with 5–8 pumps of Roots Jojoba Oil for fine, dry hair, or 1–3 tablespoons with 5–10 pumps of Roots Argan Oil for thick, dry hair; massage into the hair, leave on for up to 2 hours and wash out with your usual shampoo. Hair feels softer, smoother and shinier with regular use. For external use only; avoid contact with eyes; do not apply to open wounds or severely irritated skin.
