Our Story
More than 4,000 years ago, Egyptian priests and physicians were already working with plant essences. At Saqqara, archaeologists found alabaster tablets made for the Seven Sacred Oils of the pharaohs.
Roots was founded in Berlin in 2000 to bring this heritage together with German standards of quality, documentation and responsibility. To control quality at the source, we went back to where it all began: today our products are made by our own licensed manufacturing company in Egypt.

Our products are made by GoNatural Pure Cosmetics, the licensed Egyptian manufacturing company of Roots in 6th of October City, near Cairo. German manufacturing standards meet the efficiency of local production, close to the plants and raw materials we work with.
